The Askerov String Trio was created in 2017 during studies at the Zurich University of the Arts. There the members were able to take lessons with Michel Rouilly and Wendy Enderle-Champney.

The Trio also studied with the renowned cellist Gavriel Lipkind at the University of Ostrava.
